I need my fics letter
Jul. 2nd, 2015 12:07 amTo whoever is writing for me, thank you. I love this particular exchange for the size and the care that goes into every fic. This letter won't be long as its expanding a bit more on what I enjoy in the worlds of these fandoms.
Vorkosigan: I would love to see court life and a glimpse of some of those endless parties that Miles, Ivan, Gregor went through and how did Elena and others see them. There's something very oddly Regency about Barrayar and younger them with a Heyer twist would be amazing. That's a lot to ask for but a glimpse of younger in a quieter moment, navigating Barrayar and all the people at play. A story that featured any of the four listed would be amazing but I do have an affection for Ivan. He knows what he wants and no one lets him alone and love Gregor's quiet and Elena's understanding of how she doesn't fit. More of this world, please.
Marvel Cinematic Universe: My main request here is all the backstory, please. I haven't seen Age of Ultron so there's no need to adjust for it. I love all the layers of relationships around Natasha, Clint and Bucky. I'd adore some of the missing moments for Thor and the Warrior Three. Sam is the best. Basically show me them in another time and how that led them to where they are now or even where they are at a certain point.
Pacific Rim: I love this world a lot and want more of it. I ship Raleigh and Mako and would love to see their next steps but also anything from this time. What was Raleigh thinking when he chose to go on the Wall? What were Mako's thoughts in the simulator and as she became friends with Chuck? Tendo, I want to know so much about him. I want more of this world.
Incryptid: The family relationships and the world building are my favorite parts of this world and more of that would be great. I'd love to see how Alex and Verity and Antimony interacted or world building, missing moments between any of the books. Any time in this world makes me happy.
I don't have a lot of dislikes, my main ask for writing of fic is that it has the same general vibe of the world. So sex and violence if they fit with the story are great but to me characters come first. Plotty fics are amazing as they're not something I can write well but the characters have to come first and a visit with the world and characters makes me happy. Thank you for writing for me.
