thebattycakes posting older fics, I wrote this for ashenkey back in February as she wanted some Kait and Sam being sweet together. This is the fic where they find their way back together and try to understand who they are now and what being together looks like with all their new scars. Its been sitting done for a while and I thought it was time to share it.
( The way he watched her reminded her of when she had watched him work, how he looked at the metal, trying to understand how to bend it, but not break it. )
