I love being able to help people, but the flipside of this is I hate when I can't help. So today, one of the printers in the undergrad was freaking out on me and causing horrible back ups for anyone trying to print. I couldn't get in touch with any help lines and kept having to tell people to try another printer on a different floor.

Then I was having a rather bad case of character bleed and I haven't had one of those in a while. I've had smaller ones, but oh this was a whopper as Will Scarlett and Kate Bishop over here try to figure out where they are.

So I didn't leave work until twenty minutes after I was meant to since I waited for a replacement before realizing oh, I shut down the desk. I'm so glad that America Reads doesn't require me to be there really early since I couldn't do it.

As inspired by [livejournal.com profile] walksbyherself, who is so good at getting my creative juices going, have a lyric prompt. Pick a line and give me a character, characters, setting, anything and I'll try to provide.

1-We hold our ground, we don't kneel
2-Free falling now and I'm ready enough
3-Don't feel like it did before
4-Ain't nothing so pretty in this terrible light
5-You'd be laughing too if you could see
6-The hourglass is sitting there on the table
7-Out on the dark and shoreless waters
8-I see you at last but mostly a ghost
