Flowers of Ann Arbor
Jul. 5th, 2010 09:06 pmIts back to being hot and humid here in Michigan, which isn't fun at all. Tomorrow I'm going to talk with my mentor and make some more plans on picking a catalog system. I'm really hoping that since the meeting's in the morning, it won't be as hot when I walk to campus. Yesterday was nice,
badninja came over and we ended up missing the Fourth of July parade, because apparently it happens really quickly in Ann Arbor.
So we had a marathon of American movies, The Adventures of Huck Finn with a young and adorable Elijah Wood, Star Trek, the new one, and then 3:10 to Yuma, which prompted me to make this entry in Mixed Muses. I don't know why every time I watch that movie, William Evans tries to get into my head, but I really don't need another young man trying to find himself in my head. So please tag him and help me find a way to thread him out of my head.
I also figured that I should finally do the second picture post, which I meant to do ages ago. I adore taking pictures of flowers especially close up and my new camera is amazing at these kinds of shots though as you can tell, I'm still learning. I've tried to pick the best ones, but this will be an image heavy entry.

I love roses so much, they're my favorite flower. I saw these walking home from work and like how this picture turned out.
