Odd Saturday

Michigan weather is bizarre, when I walked to work this morning it was nice, a little windy but nothing too bad. By the time I was walking home, it was rainy and quite windy, also Ann Arbor appeared to have been taken over by hippies. I think the Hash Bash was today, I don't remember the last time I've seen that much tie dye and dreads walking around. Also due to the gusting winds, the power in the library flickered three times, which added some excitement to my afternoon.

Since I've been home, I haven't actually done that much though I have discovered two more internships that I can apply for. I realized too that there wasn't something on my professional journal about why I want to be a youth librarian. I've no desire to clog up anyone's flist so if you're curious about what I want to be doing, read here.

Now I think I'm going to get the frozen shrimp I have defrosting so I can make something really lovely for dinner tonight and use the poor red pepper before it gets beyond saving.
