Odd Day

Its really beautiful outside and I'm feeling kind of worn out. My discussion went well except for the fact that Google App Engine has decided to not run on my computer so now I can't actually run my homework to see if it works.

I feel that this is unfair and just adds to my general feeling of gah, I want the semester done. Yet I also don't because I don't have an internship settled or what classes I'm going to take next semester.

So I'm going to try another prompt meme since I love them, but this time, I'm going to answer them in comments and do one I know works for me.

Give me a pairing RP, fandom, any combination of the two and I will write you a drabble that ends in kissing or more.

My characters are over in my userinfo and ask me if I'll write something and I'll probably try. If you're wondering about my style just follow the fic tag. I am working on the fanmixes and other things, I'm just nearing the downhill run of the end of the semester.

A little flail

Apparently I'm just not being a good student at all this semester as that book review that I was flailing about well I got a 53% on it.

I tried, but I don't know. I care and want to do well, but this seems to be my semester of just getting by. I feel like in the class that I want to do well in, I'm just scraping by even when I thought that I did a good idea. I put together a podcast and a Wordle image that were meant to go together, but it wasn't enough. I participate and care so much yet I just don't feel good enough.

Things Looking Up

I was right to not freak out too much, my teacher is lovely and very understanding. She even said that it seems Kate always gets sick when something's due.

So now I have thirty days to redo this assignment and an invite to play D&D with one my SI friends and her husband.

I think what happened was that I chose the wrong tech for the project, was sick and just didn't do a good job. This time I'm going to go back and do the book review properly with my original idea of creating a wiki.

Thanks for all your support, as I said it was just a little flail, which happens as the end of the semester nears and then I'll be halfway through this program.
