Yard Sales and Craft Fairs
Jul. 11th, 2009 02:59 pmSometimes I really love Lewes and today was one of those days, I walked into town and had lunch at one of my favorite places, this lovely cafe where they roast their own coffee and I'm known as chicken-bacon wrap girl.
Then I walked to the craft fair and wandered around, wishing I had the money for beautiful reclaimed tin ceiling tiles, pottery and stained glass. In the end I found some beautiful slightly art deco earrings on sale and then read with some ice tea for a while while listening to bluegrass.
When my parents arrived we headed off and found a yard sale where I found a platter with ferns on it, a beautiful glass pitcher that looks like crystal, a pretty pot and two books, Holes which I've been meaning to read for ages and also Kydd by Julian Stockin. Now I'm relaxing with some juice and feeling tired but content.
Also my Sameth headvoice is not going away and so I think I'm going to start searching for a PB and after I finish Abhorsen, I'm going to throw him into MM since yes I do sometimes play people other than Tiwa there.
