Good Steps
Jun. 16th, 2009 03:01 pmI just called up a possible apartment in Ann Arbor that is really exactly what I want. I spoke to a wonderful woman who's going to see if she has pictures of that one and also estimates for utilities. The date I want to move in would be perfect and it has a park view.
This afternoon was lovely since I volunteered at the library where kids are coming in for summer reading which just makes me grin. Then I walked into town and had a lovely lunch at my local cafe and just enjoyed the weather and being outside.
Also yesterday I spent some more of my birthday money to buy a whole bunch of Diana Wynne Jones' books off of amazon and tomorrow I head north to start getting stuff out of my brother's garage. I'm going to be furnishing my own apartment in Ann Arbor, life is quite wonderful.
ETA: The apartment lady is going to attach the rental application when she sends the photos so I can get moving on that and I now have a Michigan email and uniqname which is kind of pretty and vaguely Polynesian: kateke.
