Album Meme

I really need to get a good photo thing on this computer because I feel so silly that I don't know how to get rid of that text box thing. My mom has a copy of Adobe Photoshop Elements that I might put on this computer unless there's a program others can recommend as better. So yes, here's mine though its nowhere near as good as everyone else's and then I'm off to make shortbread and afghans.

Now edited with a new and improved version and yay I figured out how to make text transparent and it was much simpler than I expected.

1 - Go to Wikipedia. Hit "random" or click http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Random
The first random Wikipedia article you get is the name of your band.

2 - Go to Quotations Page and select "random quotations" or click http://www.quotationspage.com/random.php3
The last four or five words of the very last quote on the page is the title of your first album.

3 - Go to Flickr and click on "explore the last seven days" or click http://www.flickr.com/explore/interesting/7days
Third picture, no matter what it is, will be your album cover.

Back from the Opening

The opening was wonderful and I snuck out about a half hour earlier because I've been there since about four o'clock setting up and mingling and being the artist's daughter. Though I think one of the best parts was when I was asked what I was doing being really clear and excited about MLS programs and especially Michigan. Some people might stop by after it closes at 10 but at the moment my parents are still there and people are arriving here.

I have tea and want to not be social for a while but I don't think I'm going to get my wish. Hopefully I can be on later after people have left but brother and sister are still here so I'm not sure.

I took lots of pictures and I'll upload them tomorrow probably or if not on Monday, also tomorrow or Monday, I'm getting a monitor cable and getting all of my stuff again. Till later and now to go be a good daughter.

Augh, my father has this friend who my mother and I both dislike. He and his wife who is nice but less cringeworthy are both here, my parents aren't back from the opening yet. Well they just broke two beautiful Mexican glass mugs that we have. Now as most of you know, my family likes tea and coffee, we have all sorts of mugs, many that are meant for hot liquids.

I didn't realize what they were doing until she poured hot water in one of these mugs and broke it. So everyone's going oh is she alright while I'm still going, cupboard full of mugs, you just broke one of these and the other has a crack. While they both keep going at me, oh its okay, no its fucking not okay, we love those glass mugs, if you'd just bloody asked I could have shown you the big ceramic mugs we have. Not all glass is treated and those are lovely, beautiful things that we adore and you just wrecked two of them when we had others.

The way they're going oh she's okay and its fine makes me want to scream, but I have to be nice even though I'm tired. I'm sick of socializing and I don't like them, all I want to do is hide and RP and watch stupid stuff, but even when they're gone my sister's sleeping in the tv room so my space is curtailed.

One benefit of tonight, it felt really nice to say, I hope to be out of here and maybe living in Michigan or West Philly by the summer so I can be working and getting settled before classes. Lewes is lovely and nice but I'm too young for here and parents are back, I feel better, needed a rant. Now to socialize and grab some champagne.
