Happy Valentines Day and Spring!
Feb. 14th, 2009 02:21 pmA while ago I was planning on writing a long entry about how its now been a year since I've been back from New Zealand and how I'm not where I expected to be. Truth be told, I'm too happy to think about that.
Since I've really decided and started pursuing the idea of being a librarian, things are moving faster and more hopeful than they have throughout this year which is pretty amazing to me. My next step is setting up some interviews and really talking to people at Drexel, Rutgers, Michigan and maybe even Berkeley because I don't want to not consider any option and also I'm so ready to move forward on this.
Today feels like Spring too and that makes me feel lovely so I drove out on the highway to an IHOP and an outlet I hadn't been before. The traffic sucked and the food wasn't that great but it was a really good learning experience.
In computer news, I've narrowed things down a bit to probably a HP, Sony Vaio and maybe a Lenovo. I've decided against a Dell just because people seem either to rave or rant and I'd rather have something a bit more consistent.
Happy Valentine's Day to everyone and know that I'm happy and joyful to know all of you and I hope you get to spend today with people you love.
