Question for the Flist

I mentioned that one of my parents friends has asked me to design his business card since he liked what I made my dad.

Now I've never done graphic design for money before so I have no idea what would be a good rate.

The card is probably going to include a piece of his artwork within it like I did for my dad. So any suggestions or experiences to help me put together a proposal for him?
