I just had the worst eye exam of my life and I've had a lot of them. Basically I went to this local eye place for a check up and to get new contacts. The young woman who helped me at first was really nice and I was thinking oh this will be great. She even said that I could get the exact same type of contacts I have now which I love since they're disposable but good for a month instead of two weeks.
I then go wait in an exam room for ten minutes, doctor shows up, something doesn't work so go to another exam room. He looks at my eyes with one machine and then hands me a plastic thing of eye drops and starts explaining that I have something wrong with my eyes. He then proceeded to scrub my eyelids and put stuff in my eyes as I'm just sitting there going WTF!
I came out to find my parents and find out oh can't get new contacts for two weeks due to all this crap. I felt ambushed and pressured and just its sucks and I want a second opinion, because this is just not right.
I don't think I've ever had a doctor's appointment where I didn't feel even acknowledged in some way and as if he was going, oh well I'm seeing her, better think up things.
And when we were waiting all the technicians went oh its clear there's a problem, look how red your eyes are but I couldn't yell, that's because he just rubbed them and put crap in them.
So going to have to figure this out and this afternoon, I really need to do something that will make me feel better since I'm still fuming.
