The Enchanted Forest Chronicles

I first read the first two books of this series in middle school and own Calling on Dragons which is my favorite. In a weird twist, I only realized there were two more within this year and have finally read the entire series.

What's interesting for me is that I discovered Mendanbar is one of my favorite characters while his romance with Cimorene is one of my favorites ever. I love that kind of playful, teasing romance that sort of surprises those who are involved in it, Will and Kate and Tiwa and James all follow this same pattern.

Though I think Tiwa and James are even more like Cimorene and Mendanbar because they really don't know what they want. Finally reading this series was fascinating and my only disappointment was I wished there had been more Mendenbar.
