A Meme and Good Thoughts

lienne On the theory that we could all use a hearty dose of positive energy and general warm fuzziness while we wait, none too patiently, for better times; that *no* one I know is getting told often enough what a good job they are doing just getting through this crazy, lovely world. Take a second, and mention something you like about me in the comments. Then repost this to your own journal, and have some goodness for yourself.
I'm feeling quite hopeful, there's a job at Swarthmore College that one of my mentor's and friends there had before she worked for my Mom. So I'm doing my best to put together an awesome letter to send out there and rattle all my connections at Swarthmore. Also thanks to monster I found another UPenn job to apply for so job stuff is moving forward.
I'm still figuring out stuff for this weekend but it looks like I'll be in the Pa/Jersey area from Saturday for niece's birthday and then coming home on Tuesday after voting in Pennsylvania. So Sunday and Monday might be possible for some socializing though I'm not yet clear where I'll be staying but anyone who might be free, let me know.
Oh and the World Series starts back up again tonight too.
