Sweeney Todd!!
Jan. 25th, 2008 11:36 pmSuch a good movie!! I just put on the first Pirates because I wanted more lovely Depp. I love Sondheim and Depp and Burton and just yes.
At the moment my glee is not terribly coherent but its there and seeing it with Cat and Paul was just huge amounts of fun, a movie like that is best shared. Also the theater was decently full since it only opened here yesterday so yes, yay for Sweeney Todd!!
Oh and since I just remembered, last night I kind of stayed up until 3:30 reading all of Howl's Moving Castle, I'd seen the movie and loved the book.
I think the difference is the movie is anime, granted really high quality anime and thus pretty and lovely in its own way while the book is more English. I like them both on their own merits, which suits me.
