Sep. 8th, 2007 11:19 pmI still exist. Got back from an awesome vacation in the South Island with my parents and have just been fairly lazy while they're off in Sydney. I wrote things and sent them to my advisor at the beginning of the week but have yet to get an email about when to meet with her, but its also the end of break. So I'll email her tomorrow.
Let's see highlights of the trip were Hokitikia, which is lovely and beautiful and restful too. Also we saw two glaciers in one day which was just further proof of how cool New Zealand is to me. Then over the Haast pass to the land of great wine, Central Otago is just utterly lovely, good wine and good food.
We also did a wonderful Lord of the Rings horseback tour and I have pictures of the piece of forest where Boromir died, which was just an incredibly beautiful place too. Hmm, not too much else to say, the thesis is taking up my time and I'm in search of a part time job and thinking about what to do about the summer and writing my masters. Sorry for the long delay in updating, sometimes I just fail at that, but I'm online so ping me if you seem me.
