Saturday night, I sent an email to my advisor about doing a masters next year, I'd been putting off sending this email since I didn't want to lose the hope. I just got her reply and she's really excited and happy for me. So, inshallah, I will be back in Wellington next year and can help with the May Larp that I got to brainstorm about though I refuse to be secretary, I acquired too many paper cuts being the girlfriend of an ST who didn't care for my help. So my ideas sat in my head and I folder character sheets. Okay, rant and anyway, I know that Conan and Paul wouldn't be like that. Wow, I feel relieved, I know its not set by any means but it feels easier now and that's lovely.
Let's see, what other news, I just picked up some nice NZ presents for my siblings and I'm having fun wandering Wellington and getting ideas. Be warned those in the US, you will have something kiwi from me for christmas though possibly small and quite silly. ;-) The weather is still grey and rainy, which is good, this is what I expect October to be like and my slide test got pushed back another week. I finally finished Stephenson's Baroque cycle, which was quite enjoyable and hey if this works, I get another year of friendship with Phil and sharing of books and such. Yay and chances to enjoy Wellington and maybe even get down to Fjordland, but nothing set in stone, sorry to get ahead of myself. I just feel that its possible and that's wonderful. That's all for now and I still have a research essay to finish, two other papers, a slide test on the 11th and three exams, but hey I graduated from Randy-Mac, this won't be too hard.
