Good Day

I finished my first week of work and it went really well. I think its going to be a good place for me to work and then yesterday was just awesome. Rowan, the uni guy texted me on Friday saying that our conversation on Thursday when we talked for 3 hours or so inspired a story from him. So we met yesterday morning and had breakfast and shared stuff we'd written. Then we just walked all over Dunedin, we breaks at various parks and all. It was wonderful, because we just talked and have some different views, which is always interesting. And we got so into talking that we actually forgot to eat lunch or dinner though we did go to a movie. We saw Shark Tale, which I don't recommend since its basically lots of movie cliches put together and animated though the rasta jellyfish are fun. Then he walked back to my hostel since he was going to a friend's birthday party and as we were saying goodbye, the funky old guy at the hostel came down and made a crack about who's on first base or third. So we didn't get a nice goodbye just an odd one.
Its all good and strange at once since I feel lost, but happy since he's fun to talk to and makes me feel comfortable and its just nice to have company that I can talk to. Then there's another part of me that sort of wants a bit more, but I can't read him so I'm not really doing anything. Life is odd and combined with all this I'm reading an amazing book about different types of love and the poems of Catullus called The Floating Book about Venice in the 15th century, which I highly recommend. Okay, this entry hasn't made a lot of sense, because I'm kind of feeling all over the place today. I'd welcome any advice or thoughts since I'm happy but just confused a bit.
