I've started to get to know people here since the group of guys I met on I think Thursday well, one of them, Rowan who's from Wellington and just cool. He's a junior at the University of Otago invited me to hang out with him and some of his friends yesterday when I was in a celebratory mood. So we walked for about twenty minutes to a little ways along the Otago Penisula where his friend Mark lives. Then we watched part of a New Zealand film called The Truth About Demons with Karl Urban, which had that amusing badness to it. Mark then made yummy stirfry with veggies from the garden out back, this was at Mark's parents house. We then watched The Mothman Prophecies, a good movie and just got to talking for a while. I have found interesting people and now if I can just get to move into my flat, I'd be incredibly happy. Now I'm just killing time before I can call my parents.
