Associative Meme Part II

I really like this meme if you couldn't tell already so I've got two more sets of things to work on and today was great.

This morning was tiring and wonderful and I'm doing it again next week, also for a bit of fyi, I'll be in NYC Thursday night and probably back late on Friday since I'm going with my parents for a nice little trip.

We're going to do museums and see an opera, I look forward to being worn out and happy afterwards.

Birds

I've always loved birds and how elegant and playful they can be and just how amazingly varied. Flight is something that fascinates and terrifies me because its a really long way to fall but the view is amazing.

Ninjas

Okay, I have no idea where this one came from since really Ninjas are cool and all but I would never connect myself with them.

Cheerfulness

I try to be happy and smiling because I know how much difference someone smiling and telling you something nice can improve your day. So I feel like its an easy thing for me to do that will spread more good into the world by trying to smile and add some happiness to the world.

Femininity

This is another one I find fascinating since its not a word I would think about for myself yet I can sort of see it. I hope that I'm a strong woman and also someone who is seen as being kind and approachable. I feel like if I can get that balance right then I'm being myself in my best form. I'm really not sure where this is going. These are complicated.

Magic

Okay, now this one is much easier. I find the idea that there's more just on the edge of what we know amazing and hopeful. I've read the tarot and love the ancient idea of a genius of a place and that kind of spirit which is found in both nature and just threw out the world. One reason I love the world of Changeling is because the core idea of it is about all this magic being there if you just look sideways and believe, who knows what you might find.

Nature

I love being in nature in any form, taking a walk outside inspires me and restores me. I've been in a lot of beautiful places in the world but honestly a sunny day just makes me happy.

Cookies

Baking is one of my absolutely favorite things in the world and cookies are fun and a treat to cook, because you get to share them in the process of making them and eating them. I think that's why I love cooking so much, because its really all about connecting and enjoying life for me and its an excuse to eat chocolate.

Travel

I've got a big old case of wanderlust and going someplace new and exploring it and making it my own is one of my greatest joys. I'm always thinking of new places I want to go and I feel lucky enough to say that I've called Athens and Wellington home for a time and really meant it. Travel is amazing because you end up really with just yourself and some times that can be hard but its always a great journey.

The Beach

My mom is originally from Carmel, California so I spent most of my childhood visiting our family there and also the East Coast isn't too far away from where I grew up. I'm always, always happy if I have the sea near me because being able to walk and listen to the waves and wonder what's on the other side of the water soothes me. There's a reason I keep visiting islands or places that are really close to the water, I'm just happier there.

Rugby

Rugby is completely New Zealand's fault and I'm so glad for it. I've always been a great spectator and I was lucky enough to see some games live and hang out in pubs as matches were going on and I just got utterly hooked. Rugby is fast paced, fun, such a part of New Zealand's culture and full of hot guys wearing very little. I still need to get myself an All Blacks jersey, but could never quite afford one, some day.
