Milliways/RP Thoughts and Update
Since I last posted about Milliways, I'm feeling much more reassured that the mods had actually been thinking about a move for a while. I sort of wish they'd mentioned that before the latest blow up as that was partly why I felt things all rushing to a point at once. Though I have to admit I'm feeling a little more comfortable with the idea of shifting as I can see the plot helping me in dealing with some various plot stuff I'm stuck on and seeing people appearing with ideas reminds me of why I love this game as I do. I still kind of wish that there had been a little more time on everything but it will take time before the game properly moves, at one point it almost felt like it would happen as soon as possible and that made me terribly nervous. Now though as I can see that the mods are going to make sure the transition is done in a fun and Milliways' manner, I feel relaxed.
Last week was a chaotic week for me as well since I returned from break straight into a heavy work week and I'm trying to get myself ready for a much more aggressive round of job hunting. I know there's the right job out there for me and I'm going to go and find it. A friend who already has a job actually helped me apply for one at her library and I have more connections to talk to. The main thing is I need to write more on my librarian blog, apply for more jobs and don't let anyone forget me.
Yesterday I had the fun of my apartment slightly falling apart on me and currently my kitchen light looks like this, a large rectangular light hanging on by only one side. I got up on a stepladder to see if I could deattach it the rest of the way and didn't feel like I could. It's just too heavy and too awkward. The person I spoke to yesterday told me something unhelpful as they suggested maintenance might be out today but they don't work on the weekends. So it hangs like that until Monday, it hasn't shifted again and I can avoid being under it, but it's worrying.
Now to do the run down of pups for Milliways and around, I only have ten so I'm listing them all, in and out of Bar. I was able to get all the same usernames for all of mine and they're all imported and I've been looking over layouts. Currently I'll be playing all of them but it's been a while since I did a write up so this is a good chance.

Charles Xavier from X-Men: First Class is my loudest pup at the moment and I'm playing him in various sandboxes. I would adore the chance to play him in Milliways along with being terrified because we have such a strong Marvel cast and I wouldn't want to be a weak link. At the moment there's a version of him in Bar and I don't know if there will be an opening for me but I'm crossing my fingers and playing him in all the sandboxes.

William Evans from Yuma is my second loudest as I keep having ideas of what to do for him and he's mixed up with so many people in Bar. He's not going anywhere.bjornwilde, if you and dynastessa end up doing a time skip with Thalia and Annabeth don't worry about it on my end. We can make it work and go with the ideas you have.

Sameth, my lovely Wallmaker who's kind of stuck in an odd canon place though incredibly easy for me to play. I realized as I was reading the ideas for Allpocalypse that could move him through to post canon. There are some moments I'd kind of hate to lose but one reason I apped Sam was to play more of the missing what happens next from his canon. I need to discuss this with my canonmates but I think this could be a fun way to get what we want from canon without being too tied down by it.

Demeter, my goddess who is not going anywhere. She's a little quieter at the moment because it's Winter and she would like the world to fix itself as she's hurting. I adore her so very much and look forward to what she might be able to do.

Moist von Lipwig is one of my favorites but during the break he got a little quiet on me. He's not going anywhere but I need to get him some schemes so he wakes up more. The idea of getting him pulled into the Music with Rocks In It plot makes me happy as one of my favorite parts of playing him is getting to play in Discworld.

Will Scarlett was my first character at Milliways and I can't imagine not playing him. Lately I've been a touch unsure of what happens next in his story but he helped rescue Johnny Storm and playing him over in AUHogwarts woke him up a lot. I think I just need to find things for him to be involved in and he'll be fine. I might finally have him join Security as that would be a great way to pull him back into the day-to-day world of the Bar.

Jane Austen is currently stuck in a weird canon moment which makes it difficult to play her. Once I can get her forward a little in canon, she'll be much more playable as I miss her. I've done a few EPs from this canon point but it's tricky. I need to get her out of London. She'll also be heartbroken but that part of canon couldn't be put off forever.

Tiwa has had a rough couple of weeks as she was pulled into the amazing plot for Matt Jamison but the resolution isn't fixed yet. So she's kind of stuck and hurting in my head, which isn't useful.ladysingsthe and dynastessa, what do we want to do with the unfinished thread in LJ-MM as I need to know how that ends for Tiwa? Since once we get that thread sorted, I think I'll be able to play her more easily.

The Pirate King, my headvoice that feels like a guest star. I love playing him when he's there but he's so rarely there and when he is he takes over everyone else. I'm thinking that I probably won't reapp him to Milliways but instead keep him for guest appearances in the various sandboxes when the muse decides to strike.
