Summary: In which the reason for Mr. Darcy's behavior is that he has telepathy.
He hated assemblies, the thoughts never varied from one to the other. Who was dancing with whom, who was wearing what and who was going to soon be married? It was tiring and boring and he wished that he had been able to stay home as he had finally found a place, where he could be quiet.
Sadly it was not to be and that woman, Elizabeth Bennet would keep thinking awful ideas about him simply because he wished for some peace. Society was a great burden.
