Yeah, I always thought, ok, it's supposed to be tragic because this 12 year old girl had confused feelings and didn't realize the impact that she would have, but she'd clearly done something wrong and was kind of sociopathically out of touch with the depth of that wrongness, even as she got older - I felt like she always made it about her. I never thought we were supposed to like the character as portrayed - I thought we were supposed to care about Keira's character but I haaate her entire delivery of everything so I can never empathize with her characters either. So yeah. Fail, but James was pretty.
