Weather is not my friend

Normally I like Summer, not a huge amount but a lot. I enjoy being able to wander around and have it be light outside when I finish my nine o'clock shift at the grad.

What I don't enjoy is that my sleeping schedule appears to have been utterly wrecked by the weird shifts in weather so that I feel sore and just want to curl up in bed. I have things that I need to be doing.

Also today as opposed to the heat of the pas few days, its dark and there's a tornado warning. I'm going to stay home and research catalog systems and try my best to not curl up and sleep until research gets done.

Oof. I'm glad Utah doesn't get a lot of tornadoes. I'm told there's usually one or two a year somewhere in the state, but the only one I've been aware of is the one that wandered around downtown Salt Lake something like ten years ago.

Honestly, I like August-easing-into-September best. It's still way warm, but you can go outside and see the last glow of sunset and it's just light enough to wander around and it's still warm. Even though the sun's set.

So, anyway, good luck dealing with crazy Midwest weather.
