A little flail

Apparently I'm just not being a good student at all this semester as that book review that I was flailing about well I got a 53% on it.

I tried, but I don't know. I care and want to do well, but this seems to be my semester of just getting by. I feel like in the class that I want to do well in, I'm just scraping by even when I thought that I did a good idea. I put together a podcast and a Wordle image that were meant to go together, but it wasn't enough. I participate and care so much yet I just don't feel good enough.

When I feel like I'm not going to cry, I might see if there's a way to redo it.

I knew it wasn't my best thing, but I just hate this. I'm at a School of Information, I should know how to combine things and do this sort of stuff but I don't.

Also its stupid to know that I would have done better doing an in-person presentation when the whole idea was to do something online.

It's not stupid - each librarian is suppose to have a specialty, and each library is supposed to interlock these specialties in a way where everyone's talent are heightened and the drawbacks lessened. If U of M doesn't know how to teach that, then they're the ones not doing a very good job.

If you need any help with the redo, I'm always willing.

They do, I really like my teacher and she's always pushing us to explore things. Her focus is more on understanding and using tech which makes sense. That's partly why I feel so bad, this is the class that I want to do well in.

Its just for some reason this isn't what I'm easiest with. If you want to see what I did, its over on my Librarian Blog though part of it is honestly, its not that great a book review.

Then, definitly talk to this teacher about redoing it! It sounds as if she wants y'all to learn, and with you being more than willing to learn, it only makes sense that she would help you redo it. *snugz*

I have talked to her and I remembered correctly, she always allows thirty days to resubmit something. That's why she's a good teacher.

Sorry about sounding harsh if I did, nobody's ever tried to give me a good picture of the place, and then my mom kept saying their library program was subpar, but I need to remember she was in school (and went to Western) in the late 60s XD

If it's tech I really can offer help if you ever need it, that's my specialty, I'm actually working on coding a program to help with my degree when I go back, right now. I'm usually around a lot more than I have been.

I agree with Star about taling to the teacher, too.
