(no subject)

I just woke up rather early to walk into a farmer's market in Lewes with my family. There's heat haze and today is already humid but we bought some wonderful treats and so many greens.

I love having my brother here and yesterday with him, I drove around quite a bit to get soft shell crabs, good bread, wine and a classic black ipod.

Tomorrow I turn 27 and tonight we're having friends over for dinner and then on my birthday, heading up North to have party with my other brother and sister. I feel like this is a hopeful way to start off my next year.

End of Hillary's Run

I just listened to Hillary Clinton's concession speech and I'm still not sure how I feel about this ending of her run.

I've supported her from the beginning and will support Obama to the White House but a lot of the things that were said by the media and happened during this campaign made me quite angry.

This isn't going to be my clearest post, I just wanted to say that our country still needs to talk about sexism and that the conversations started by Hillary shouldn't stop. To fit my odd sort of mood, I just bought the Iron Man soundtrack on itunes.

Right just wanted to write this, I'm curious what other people think and I know she did some stupid and horrible things in her campaign but damnit, we shouldn't wait too much longer for a woman candidate.
