Today has been a good day and I'm currently contemplating buying a cd full of the country music I listened to in the '90s and feeling quite nostalgic. I went to one of my favorite Ann Arbor festivals, Dancing in the Streets and realized, oh they're promoting classes. In two years, I never picked this up somehow but I now have a list of classes and a website to browse. I think not only can I afford these classes but they'll be lots of fun.

The hard part will be picking which ones I want to do as they offer a huge range; contra, ballroom, Scottish, apparently something that's Scandinavian. I know many of you are social dancers so I'd love to hear your thoughts on choices. Some of them will depend on timing as I can't dance while doing reference work but still options.

Also there's going to be a gaming group organized from SI, getting together at the new gaming store on State St. and doing board games and possibly even some campaigns. In this coming week, I plan on applying for jobs, picking more jobs to apply for and figuring out which dance class I like.

My fic writing has slowed due to my fantastic vacation so to poke my brain, I'm going to do ask my wonderful flisters to get me writing. This will also give those of us who are not off in Dragoncon things to think on.

Pick a lyric or two or three, give me a character, pairing or setting and I'll write you at least a hundred words. I'm willing to try writing most things and if I don't think I can write it, I'll tell you. Though I've been doing fills for other things so don't be afraid to make me push myself.
