Defying Gravity
I've had a strange couple of days since I spent them worrying about talking to Phil then took the fairly cowardly way out of writing an email. So far he hasn't emerged from his room, so I'm not sure the effect I had. Also my elf character in the Warhammer game I was playing died tonight. It was quite an exciting game, the group defeated a necromancer and then got blamed for it. Everyone else was able to get out of it, but the witchhunters chose my elf to deal with. So Ygranne went down in a blaze of glory, she used magic to escape and died when the dogs caught her in the woods. The other characters decided that their new master, a Baron's son wasn't paying them to save her, so they let her go. Oh well, the weather has been rainy and grey, which is oddly invigorating. I've told Phil and I'm not sure what happens now, I did my part and now I just plan to enjoy the rest of my time in New Zealand.
I'm going to have a nice expedition to a place called Paua World to pick up paua pieces for my father's sculptures, which should be cool since its a train ride away and a good expedition is always fun. Also Sunny and I are going to have a day when we just are tourists, taking pictures and doing silly things. I have my last exam on Thursday afternoon and I need to put in my application for next year, but that just means walking up to campus. Overall, life is good and good roleplaying always leaves me feeling invigorated. The character didn't last long, but I had a lot of fun playing her and learning a new system: very dark and grotty but interesting.
